Sort them by feeling, not importance
Make three piles: definitely keep, maybe, and recycle. A €2 café receipt can matter more than an expensive attraction ticket if it brings back the right moment.
Extract the best detail
You do not have to keep the entire receipt. Punch the date, logo, price, word, number or small graphic that carries the memory and recycle the rest.
Photograph fragile pieces
Thermal receipts can fade. Take a quick photo before trimming them if the information matters.
Give the leftovers a place
Use free scrapbook pages at the end of the journal for larger pieces, notes or scraps that did not fit a challenge. Not everything needs to become a tiny stamp.
